We are looking for .NET Developer to drive the development of a new application, mentor a team of developers and ensure a seamless development and deployment process.

What You’ll Work On:

You’ll be part of an innovative team building 3D, AR and VR educational tools that enhance learning outcomes and inspire the next generation of STEM and healthcare professionals. The immersive technology helps students grasp complex scientific concepts more effectively, making learning more engaging and impactful. The project is developed in collaboration with top universities and publishing partners to bring the largest 3D and VR educational library to schools and e-learning platforms worldwide.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering growth and collaboration
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using C#/.NET Framework/ASP.NET Core.
• Work with PostgreSQL, Marten (document DB), and Wolverine (messaging system).
• Implement and optimize event-driven architecture using Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs with ASP.NET MVC & Minimal APIs.
• Manage identity integration with OpenIddict and document APIs with Swagger.
• Utilize Typesense for search functionalities and HyperDX for debugging and maintenance.
• Ensure high performance and reliability through JavaScript/TypeScript API tests and k6 performance testing.
• Oversee infrastructure management using Azure, Hetzner, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Nginx
• Drive CI/CD automation with DevOps processes and Git + Husky hooks.
• Support the transition from legacy systems using SVN, Entity Framework, and MS-SQL.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Senior-level experience in .NET backend development.
• Strong knowledge of C#/.NET, PostgreSQL, messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), RESTful APIs.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, API testing, cloud services (Azure, Hetzner), and DevOps pipelines.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Terraform, and Docker for infrastructure management.
• Strong leadership skills, including team management, mentorship, and delegation.
• Fluent English (spoken & written), fluent Czech
• Willingness to work on-site in Brno 3x per week (hybrid mode)
