The worldwide company and excellent CRM Tech team  is looking for a Front-end developer with a passion for providing innovative and scalable solutions for business applications. The team works on personalised communications across multiple channels to bring buyers and sellers together in the their marketplace, ultimately making company the place where the world shops first.

Primarily, the scope of this role is on improving or/and redesigning marketing & transactional emails.

On top of this excellent opportunity, you can join our team physically in the Prague office twice a week.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Daily responsibilities:

• Development and implementation: Utilise FreeMarker (FTL) and API service call wrappers to create and implement content for marketing and transactional multi-channel communications for eBay customers.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Product managers, back-end engineers, QA testers and designers to communicate progress & timelines, prevent or address issues and present outputs.
• Deployment and Monitoring: Roll out updates to production environments and perform monitoring post-launch to ensure stability and performance.
• Maintenance and Standards: Address bugs and maintain the integrity of templates and code standards.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for projects and processes.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct peer quality assurance reviews to ensure high standards of code quality and prevent issues from occurring in production.
• Technical and Domain Expertise: Develop deep technical and domain expertise to effectively solve product challenges and contribute to the team’s success.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on similar experience.
• Strong background/foundation in HTML/CSS.
• Comfortable working with Agile methodologies.
• Experience working with Git.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proactiveness, independence and positive attitude

Nice to Have:

• Experience with email design and working with data stored in JSON format.
• Experience with Python, SQL, REST services  – nice to have
• Knowledge/experience in using API services.
• Knowledge of Apache Freemarker.
• Background in email marketing/campaign design.
• Experience with JIRA.
