Are you a senior backend developer looking for a meaningful job with an impact on the environmental sector? Are you tired of offers in banking, TELCO, fintech, and insurance and looking for an interesting project with real impact?
You will work in a Czech branch of a Danish company delivering tailor-made solutions in various types of water environments: agriculture, energy, climate change, groundwater, ecosystems, and environmental risk.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will be responsible for handling multiple projects locally and overseas (remotely). You will work in close collaboration with the other architects located in Australia and Denmark, and with a team in the Czech Republic.
- Designing the architecture of scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based solutions.
- Optimizing storage, retrieval, and analysis of data using the latest Data Modelling techniques.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define innovative solutions.
- Ensuring best practices in cloud architecture and data management are followed.
- Development and bug fixing of our Cloud Services together with the team.
What technologies will you work with?
- Backend is in primarily in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET
- Azure DevOps for issue tracking, bug reporting, code versioning (Git), and deployment
- Target primarily Microsoft Azure while running applications in Kubernetes
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Proven experience as a Senior Developer working with cloud-based platforms.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Software Information.
- Minimum of 5-7 years experience working in Software Development and/or Information Technology.
- Expertise in data modeling and database design.
- Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related technologies, specifically AKS.
- Proven experience in .NET technology, C# development.
- Proven experience with Microservices Architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficient skills in written and verbal English.
